In July and August, Lambda Nu Sigma collected school supplies through a donations drive to help support local school children in high need areas. Operation BigBookBag serves as an invaluable resource to children through the provision of supplies that will aid them in their educational endeavours.
We set the goal of collecting donations to purchase 22 back to school 'kits.' These kits were a new backpack full of back to school items, including notebooks, paper, pencil crayons, pens, pencils and more.
We hope to increase the number of students we support every year. We extend many thanks to those who generously donated and helped us reach our goal!
