Lambda Nu Sigma will be collecting winter clothing donations for Jessie's Centre in Toronto. Jessie's Centre is a multi-service resource centre supporting over 200 pregnant teenagers and 1,100 young parents with their children. Throughout the year, they implement a variety of programs and services to meet the special needs of young families.
This clothing drive is in line with Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority's national program Project CRADLE Care, which is a prenatal education and resource program that seeks to improve pregnancy outcomes in high-risk communities. Lambda Nu Sigma is thrilled to partner with Jessie's Centre to support young families and help them to prepare for the cold winter months.
