The evening was filled with fun and competition for our bowling fundraiser event. From YWEI to the fundraiser, we thank our dear friends and family that came out to support our initiatives during the wonderful weekend.

The Lambda Nu Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. hosted its first annual Young Women’s Empowerment Conference at the Falstaff Community Centre in North York on Saturday, November 10, 2012. Young women from around the community came together to engage with sorority members and community stakeholders in engaging workshops. Held during founders' week, this conference brought together young women, from various socio-economic statuses, to participate in workshops varying from healthy living, choices, and relationships, financial management, and community engagement.
